Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teko Modise is desperate for a taste of CAF Champions League glory with the Chloorkop outfit.
Table-topping Sundowns have been dominant in the Premiership following a run of 14 unbeaten games with 12 wins and two draws.
Modise hopes Masandawana can transfer their domestic form to the continental cup competition.
Last year the Brazilians were knocked out in the second round by TP Mazambe, who went on to lift the title.
"It will be injustice for us not to do well there. We have worked so hard and we've learnt from what happened between us and TP Mazembe, so for us not to qualify and go to the second round will stupid for us," Modise told KickOff.
"We can't work so hard and when the opportunity comes, then we crumble. So for us we just learn what we did and we will need to try and win our home games...score many goals as possible, so that when we play away it becomes less stressful."
Pitso Mosimane's side will commence their Africa campaign against Chicken Inn from Zimbabwe on Saturday.
