Cape Town - Cape Town City have been boosted by the news that star performers Aubrey Ngoma and Teko Modise are making good progress in their respective returns from injury.
Ngoma, who injured his knee while on international duty with Bafana Bafana in June and had to undergo surgery, is reportedly closing on a return to full training for Benni McCarthy's side.
According to the Soccer Laduma website, the 28-year-old is undergoing a programme to get him ready to join first-team training.
Meanwhile, Modise, who joined the club from Mamelodi Sundowns in the off-season and already has a goal to his name, is also making progress with a groin concern.
The veteran midfielder has struggled with his groin in the early part of the season and had to come off in the first half of City's recent 2-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs.
Nonetheless, it has since been confirmed that Modise is available for selection when the Citizens clash with Ajax Cape Town on Saturday.
Kick off is at 15:00.
