Cape Town - SuperSport United midfielder Aubrey Modiba has welcomed the arrival of Mandla Masango and says he is willing to learn from the former Kaizer Chiefs man.
The 21-year-old has been a mainstay in Stuart Baxter's side since completing his deadline day move from Cape Town City in August last year.
However, the arrival of Masango has resulted in Modiba's starting-berth being compromised with Baxter opting to start with the on-loan midfielder in the last two games.
"I'm in no competition with Masango or any other player in the team," Modiba told Pretoria News.
"I welcome his arrival with open arms. He's been overseas. He knows what he's doing. I look up to him.
"I've also been asking him a whole lot of questions, with regard to how I can improve my game. He's been very helpful.
"My ambition is to play overseas. He's been there and so the plan is to continue learning from him, work harder and play wherever the coach wants me to play. I'm flexible."
