Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Xola Mlambo thinks it could be tricky to face Stellenbosch FC twice in two weeks after they were drawn as together in the Telkom Knockout.
The Soweto giants will host Stellenbosch in the TKO last-16 next Saturday, before taking them on again a week later at Cape Town Stadium in the Premiership.
The draw left Mlambo feeling amused at the prospect of facing Stellies twice in quick succession, and he reckons it could be a tough prospect for Pirates.
"I was a bit amused because we already have to play Stellenbosch when we reopen the Premier League, so I was quite shocked to say, 'Eish, we have to meet up with them twice in two weeks,' so it's not going to be easy to play the same opponent," said Mlambo at the draw on Wednesday.
"We come into this cup and we have nothing to lose. We are wounded from last season's results, so we definitely have to give everything we have so that we turn the situation around.
