Micho's message to Bucs ahead of Rise and Shine clash

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic says his players must remain positive despite drawing 2-2 last Saturday with Cape Town City.

The result was potentially a huge setback in the Absa Premiership title race as it means Mamelodi Sundowns hold the advantage should they win their game-in-hand against Golden Arrows on Tuesday.

If the Brazilians do collect three points, they move two ahead of the Sea Robbers with just one match remaining in the league in 2018/19.

Bucs face Polokwane City on Saturday whereas Downs meet Free State Stars on the same day.

'Micho' told reporters: "The message is very simple, they are fully aware that we are in competition and need to focus on our last match.

"The intention is to win that last match and to see where and how we are [positioned on the log]. It is a setback and a disappointment that we didn't win.

"Despite giving everything, we didn't get what we wanted, but we need to find a formula to keep them mentally up because all that we asked them to do, they did.

"We didn't get profit from it, but we are now looking forward to the last match [against Polokwane City]."

Kick-off in all of the matches on the PSL's final day is at 15:00.
