Micho: We need to improve

Cape Town - Despite being happy with the performance, Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic believes that his charges can still improve.

The Buccaneers were held to a goalless draw against Maritzburg United on Friday evening in a Premiership clash which saw Soweto side climb up to fourth position on the log standings.

"Look, this wasn’t an easy match by any means," Sredojevic said as quoted by the club's official website.

"It’s no surprise United are where they are on the log table.

"Although I am happy with our general performance I still believe there are some areas we need to improve on.

"Obviously with our next match coming up so soon there’s little you can do except try and regenerate and hope that the players are fresh for yet another challenge against City.”

The Buccaneers and Cape Town City will do battle on Tuesday evening at FNB Stadium.

Kick off is at 19:30.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
