Micho urges patience with finishing coach

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic has urged patience with finishing coach Stephane Adam, insisting that his work will pay off in the long run.

Pirates have netted just twice in their opening four Absa Premiership fixtures despite hiring Adam to work as a specialist coach for finishing ahead of this season.

However, Sredojevic has vowed that in due time, Adam's work on the training ground will become evident in Pirates' on-field performances.

"In a complete aspect of providing, when you put the player of the field and tell him to play football, if you succeed then attack the goal, if you fail then defend the goal," explained 'Micho', according to KickOff website.

"I believe that we are doing a complete product, however, that product now needs spicing from the point of angling, technique of finishing and all other related issues.

"We have thus designed a program where our new coach Stephane Adam is working every day with a different group of players.

"We are rotating them as part of a process where we are looking at how, as time goes, we can improve in that aspect and then real fruits will come through, a much better conversion ratio."
