Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic says it's important his men do not put themselves under undue pressure against SuperSport United.
The Buccaneers square up to Matsatsantsa at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday night knowing that a win would take them to within one point of league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, while a defeat could be a serious knock to their title ambitions.
Bucs mentor Sredojevic is aware however that focussing too much on the league standings could cause his men to tense up and he's doing his best to keep the mood in the camp a relaxed one.
"We told the players they must not feel any pressure, just go out there and express yourselves," said the Serbia-born coach.
"Let the pressure come to us so that your legs are unlocked to express yourselves in the best possible way."
Pirates head into the game on the back of five straight wins in the top flight, the most recent being a 2-1 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic.
Despite the positive run of form though, Sredojevic still sees room for improvement.
"We are looking forward to having a better transition when we lose the ball to close counter attacks. We are looking to have much better defending, much better than we did against Celtic.
"We must look better in transition whenever we are winning the ball and to go with confidence. And this is what we are looking for ahead of the match against SuperSport."
Kick-off is at 19:30.
