Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic is pleased with the progress made by his side but still wants his men to keep pushing for greater heights.

Last season was a disappointing one by Pirates' own high standards. But the arrival of Sredojevic, who has formed a close-knit partnership with his assistant Rhulani Mokwena, has seen the Sea Robbers establishing themselves as one of the forerunners to win the league title.

Pirates are presently just one point behind pace-setters Mamelodi Sundowns.

Sredojevic feels, however, that he is just getting started and hopes to continue the momentum his side have found of late; Bucs having won their last four league matches.

"You know a club of our ambition and of our stature is a club that always looks for more," he was quoted saying by KickOff website.

"We're not satisfied, we are never happy. Our supporters are maybe one of the most demanding supporters on the continent, and we need to go step by step with their demands.

"They want good football, they want to win, they want to be happy. I believe they have many reasons to be happy, with the passing football that we've performed."

Meanwhile, Sredojevic was pleased to see some of his players performing well at the four-nation tournament which involves South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Angola.

"Nice to see our Orlando Pirates boys Justin Shonga (scorer for Zambia) and Marshall Munetsi (Zimbabwe) clashing against each other  in Ndola in order to get more international exposure and experience," he tweeted earlier this week.

Pirates are next in action when they host Bloemfontein Celtic in a league match on Wednesday, April 4.
