Cape Town - Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brighton Mhlongo believes that they would need to bring their 'A' game against SuperSport United.
The Buccaneers face Matsastansta in the Nedbank Cup final at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, May 21.
Following an underwhelming campaign, Myeni said a victory in the cup final is the only way they could salvage their season.
"We have played so many cup finals but the most important thing is to stay humble, keep level-headed and focus on the job at hand," said Mhlongo as quote on the PSL website.
"We have seen how they play and we have been preparing well. All we need to do is take our 'A' game come Saturday.
"Obviously, you are always as good as your last game," he continued, "so we don’t want to think much about the previous cup finals because what matters is what you will do on the day.
"We just know that we have to go out there and try as much as possible to win this cup final because that is the only thing that can salvage a season that went downwards for us.
"We have a chance to uplift the morale going into the upcoming season so we just want to end on a high note,” added Bucs' shot-stopper, who was the Man of the Match in the semi-final over Free State Stars.
