Mbesuma talks up Aces title chances

Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces veteran striker Collins Mbesuma believes the team has what it takes to challenge for the Absa Premiership title.

Aces have been a revelation this season after finishing 2015 in third place with seven wins, three draws and two losses.

Mbesuma has been pivotal during that run with his seven goals making him the top goal scorer in the league.

"I am happy that I am scoring goals for the team but you know that the real work starts now," Mbesuma told Goal website.

"We have more difficult games to play in the second round and if we can survive these games we will fight for the league title.

"You see all the teams in the top eight still have the chances to fight for the title and we are one of those teams but as I have said the real work starts now."
