Mbalula: TKO final a real razzmatazz humdinger

Cape Town - Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula feels that Mamelodi Sundowns showed a real thirst to win the Telkom Knockout final.

Sundowns defeated Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 at a sold out Moses Mabhida Stadium and Mbalula was one of the honourary dignitaries.

According to KickOff, Mbalula says that the final felt festive and at the end of the day it was a momentous day for sport.

“I think Sundowns showed a great display you know and the thirst to win, and congratulations to them and all the sports-loving fans," said Mbalula.

"It was a festive mood and fantastic environment here today. What sport and football gives to ordinary people, this is what it is, thousands of people coming out for the Telkom Cup.

"It was a great day for sport, a real razzmatazz humdinger Telkom Knockout Final," added Mbalula.
