Cape Town - SuperSport United on Friday have confirmed the signing of former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabo Qalinge.
Matsantsantsa have signed Qalinge has signed a one-year-deal with a two-year-option after being released by Pirates at the end of last season.
Qalinge had been training with the Tshwane outfit since the start of July but has now finally put pen to paper on a contract.
The 27-year-old was a youth product at SuperSport United before moving to join Mpumalanga Black Aces where he made a name himself that drew attention from the Buccaneers.
SuperSport CEO said Stanley Matthews: "It's good to have Thabo back for a second stint at the club.
"He has matured and gained immense experience since his first spell with us and we hope he makes the most of this opportunity to show South Africa what he has in his locker and how he can help us win trophies and push hard for a Top 4 spot in the PSL."
Qalinge could make his debut for his new club when they take on Wits in an MTN 8 encounter on Sunday.
