Cape Town - Eric Mathoho reached a milestone of 150 appearances for Kaizer Chiefs in last Saturday's 3-0 Nedbank Cup victory over Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town.
Since joining the side in 2012 from Bloemfontein Celtic, the defender has gone on to become a real stalwart for the Glamour Boys in the heart of the back four.
It was his partnership alongside Tefu Mashamaite that helped Amakhosi to a Premiership title in 2014/15 under Stuart Baxter, and he has since established a solid combination with Lorenzo Gordinho as well.
In addition, the player has become a regular for Bafana Bafana and is arguably South Africa's most dominant centre-back at the moment in the domestic game.
The Thohoyandou-born star recently signed a new two-year deal with the Steve Komphela-coached outfit, and he looks well set to break further records for Chiefs.
Amakhosi travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, March 18 for a Premiership fixture against Baroka FC.
Kick off is at 20:15.
