Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs left-back Tsepo Masilela
believes beating Orlando Pirates in the Carling Black Label Cup can boost
confidence ahead of having a great season.
Chiefs are set to face their fierce Soweto rivals on
Saturday at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg with a full house already being
confirmed at the venue.
The winner of the encounter will no doubt have bragging
rights ahead of what is sure to be a gripping Premiership campaign.
Nonetheless, Masilela, who played for the Glamour Boys

"That said, I have played in seasons where we won the
CBL and went on to win nothing for the rest of the season. I have also played

because it is a long season. It is very important for motivation, confidence
and momentum to win on Saturday in order to bring back the team's confidence.
It is only when you win games that you get your confidence back. That's what
winning does for you."
