Masilela: Chiefs can beat 'Downs

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs full-back Tsepo Masilela believes his team has enough quality to overcome an in-from Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Knockout final in Durban on Wednesday.

Masilela will be among the senior players in the team, who will be looked towards to guide Chiefs past Sundowns in the final.

Chiefs will be looking to avoid a back-to-back cup final loss, after Ajax Cape Town beat them to the MTN8 title.

"It will be a great final. Both teams deserve to be in the finals and we are looking forward to lifting this trophy, having not won the last one," Masilela told Soccer Laduma.

"We know that Sundowns are a good team, but we have players who are capable of winning this one. We have reached two finals already. We have to go all out."

Kick-off is at 18:00.
