Cape Town - Veteran striker Katlego Mashego reveals has no intention of hanging up his boots after parting ways with Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 34-year-old is a free agent after spending three seasons with the Brazilians and the club decided against renewing his contract.
Mahhota, as he is affectionately known, had a successful spell at Sundowns winning the Telkom Knockout, Nedbank Cup and two Premiership titles.
"Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 34 and Manchester United want to sign him. That thing [football talent] can't leave you; it is there for you. Obviously, you can't be the same person you were when you were 20," Mashego told The Sowetan.
"I still have to sit down with my manager [Tim Sukazi] to map the way forward, because now I'm in off season. My mind is somewhere else and I'm not thinking of my next move.
"I had a brilliant time at Sundowns and I was winning trophies almost all the time I was there.
"I'm going back to my home town Bushbuckridge to help and that's what I'm busy with at the moment. After that, I will take a bit of time out, switch my phone off and reflect. I will try to freshen up and come back stronger."
