Cape Town - Free State Stars will look to return to winning form in the Absa Premiership when they host Maritzburg United at Goble Park.

Stars have gone three league matches without a win after drawing 0-0 away to Bidvest Wits on April 16.

The Free State side has claimed 19 points from 12 home matches this season.

Ea Lla Koto are placed ninth on the Absa Premiership log with 33 points from 25 matches.

Maritzburg have gone four league matches without a win after drawing 1-1 away to Golden Arrows on April 20.

The KwaZulu-Natal side has claimed 10 points from 12 away matches this season.

The Team of Choice is placed 16th on the Absa Premiership log with 17 points from 25 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Maritzburg and Stars have met in 17 league matches since 2005/06.

Ea Lla Koto have seven wins compared to one for the Team of Choice, while nine matches have been drawn.

Stars have an unbeaten home record in league matches with Maritzburg: four wins and four draws from eight encounters as hosts.

The teams’ 17 league meetings have produced a total of 39 goals.

Kick-off is at 18:00 on Tuesday, April 26.
