Speaking to Umhlobo Wenene FM, Manzini said that despite an indifferent start to the 2018/2019 Absa Premiership campaign the team are positive they can turn things around.
"We didn't have good start to the season, but we're positive about the future, Manzini said."
"The players have adapted to coach Eric's philosophy. We haven't had much time, but we're doing what needs to be done to climb the log."
"We have a very experienced coach, who has competed in Africa and won trophies in the league. We are working hard to compete at the top level."
Despite a well-known shortage of goals in South African football, Manzini believes he can break the 20-goal barrier for Chippa this season.
"I know what coach expects from me as an individual, and I intend to deliver. I'm trusting God to help achieve my goal of storing at least 20 goals this season. If you can believe it, it will come to pass."
The last time a player reached the 20-goal mark was in the 2011/12 when Siyabonga Nomvethe banged in 20 goals for Moroka Swallows.
Chippa United next return to action when they host Baroka FC in a league encounter at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium on September 15.
