Manzini on high after brace

Cape Town - Chippa United striker Lerato Manzini admits there is no better feeling in football than scoring against Kaizer Chiefs.

Manzini bagged a brace when the Chilli Boys humiliated Amakhosi 3-1 in the Premiership last weekend.

With the victory, Chippa snapped their winless run to invigorate the squad with a much-needed confidence boost.

"I had an opportunity to start and score against Kaizer Chiefs in the MDC (Multichoice Diski Challenge) the week before our game and that helped to boost my confidence," Manzini told the club's official website.

"It was a good feeling to score but to be honest it is nothing special. It is my job as a striker to score goals. I always feel I can score goals, two or three in any game where I am given a chance. I do not set targets but I want to score every time I pull on the Chippa United jersey.

"I am always happy to contribute to the success of the team. The win on Saturday was for our supporters. We needed to bring back that smile and now we must build from this performance going forward."
