Manyisa says he is willing to fight for his place at the club after
making just four league appearances in 2018/19.
In his first season at the club in 2016/17 he enjoyed much better
fortunes as he made 26 Premiership appearances, however, he has fallen
down the pecking order in more recent times.
Hlompho Kekana and Tiyani Mabunda have often been the preferred
starters though Manyisa is hopeful of making his mark in the upcoming
He told reporters: "I think it's part of football. Everyone has his
own chance and you have to take it with both hands. I am still waiting
for my chance.
"We have to understand that only 11 players can be on the field and
so you have to wait for your own chance to play. We have to show the
coach at training that you want to play. He is the only one to decide
who plays or not.
"It's healthy competition. If you want to be the best, you have to
compete with the best. Life is good. We are all happy and united. We do
talk a lot and help each other.
"It doesn't put us under pressure. It's our job. We have to make sure
that we deliver for the Sundowns family because we came here to play
football and win trophies."
