Manyama ruled out for the season

Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces have received a major blow by the news that Lebogang Manyama will be ruled out for the rest of the campaign.

The former Ajax Cape Town winger broke three of his toes last month and was reportedly ruled out for three weeks after going under the knife, but AmaZayoni coach Mushin Ertugral has now revealed they won't rush him back and risk further damage.

"His [Manyama] season is over, he will be [fit] next season," he told KickOff.

"His three toes were broken and the operation was very successful.

"Hopefully in the beginning of May the pins will be removed. We don't want to force him, so next season he'll be back."

Manyama impressed for Aces prior to his injury contributing two goals and four assists in 17 Premiership appearances.
