'Management is 100% behind me'

Cape Town - Under-fire Bloemfontein Celtic coach Serame Letsoaka is optimistic that club management will give him enough time to turn things around.

Since taking over in December, Letsoaka has only been able to guide Celtic to one victory with eight losses and three draws.

Celtic have dropped from a healthy position in the top eight to 12th on the table and have not scored a goal in their last five games.

"The management is right behind me 100 per cent. There is just all sorts of problems in the team but they are supporting me," Letsoaka told KickOff.

"What they are saying to me is they won't bring in a new coach now who will have to know the players first. He also has to know what we are doing in the team, and by the time he knows the players the league will be over.

"So we have to soldier on together to make sure that we get the points that we can, especially when we play at home.

"I think it is now four or five games that we have not scored. Even the draw that we had, the last one was a goalless draw, we are just not scoring goals.

"We play all the football but at the end of the day, the end product of football is scoring goals and this is one thing that is alluding us. All the football is there, entries in the final third are there."
