Mamelodi Sundowns win Absa Premiership Q2

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns, currently third on the log, have claimed the Absa Premiership Q-Innovation Quarter Two.

Mamelodi Sundowns has won the second quarter of the Absa Premiership for four consecutive seasons now: 2018/19, 2017/18, 2016/17 and 2015/16.

The Premier Soccer League handed over the R1.5 million prize money before their 3-0 win over Black Leopards at Loftus Stadium.

Mamelodi Sundowns won the 2018/19 Q2 with 17 points from seven (7) matches - five victories, 2 draws with no losses.

Cape Town City, second on the log, narrowly missed the top prize with one point (they have 16 points). Bidvest Wits, who won 2018/19 Quarter One, are third with 14 points from seven games.
