Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka has compared his playing style to that of Barcelona great Andres Iniesta and Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen.
The central midfielder, who has played an important role in Chiefs' rise up the Premiership table in 2017, takes the view that both players creative instincts reflect his own game.
With four assists to his name compared to Iniesta's five and Eriksen's 14, it appears the 28-year-old is justified to rank himself against two of the world's best performers.
"I'd say I've modelled my style according to how Iniesta of Barcelona plays," he said as quoted by KickOff website.
"I've closely watched Eriksen as well, a player with very good technical ability.
"I trained with Eriksen at Ajax Amsterdam. He doesn't run a lot but his passing and movement sets him apart."
