Cape Town - Kaizer
Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka says that the Moses Mabhida Stadium,
where he has scored twice this season, is among his favourite venues.
Amakhosi regularly use the Durban World Cup stadium as a home ground and they will be hosting Ajax Cape Town there in an Absa Premiership clash this Saturday night, and Maluleka is hoping for a large turn-out of Chiefs fans.
"The Ajax Cape Town match is our last in 2017," Maluleka told the Amakhosi website.
"Supporters usually attend our home games in Durban in great numbers. If that happens again on Saturday, we will reward them – we want to make our fans happy.
"I love to play in Durban. I also scored both my goals there this season (against AmaZulu in the Telkom Knockout and against Baroka FC in the league).
"Durban is usually a good hunting ground for us. Ajax won’t be an easy opponent, but we are ready.
"We are in the thick of things when it comes to the log, being in third position and we definitely look at finishing the year on a high note."
Having spent several successful seasons with Ajax, Maluleka admits that Saturday's match takes on extra importance for him.
"I had a good time with them and I revived my career at Ajax under coach Foppe de Haan," he added. "That's why the club will always be close to my heart."
Kick off is at 20:15.
