Malesela: Our aim is to keep building

Cape Town - Dan Malesela says there is still room for improvement at Chippa United following their 2-1 victory against Free State Stars in their opening Premiership encounter.

A brace by Rhulani Manzini handed the Chilli Boys a perfect start to the 2015/16 campaign. Despite the result and their dominance, Malesela believes that the Port Elizabeth-based outfit have some improving to do.

"There were phases that were very, very good. We can"t be asking for too much at this time because it is the first game of the season," he told SuperSport.

"We had quite lot of players who are new to the PSL, and who I think felt the pressure.

"Rhulani"s two goals does not mean that we are getting things right. But we can"t crucify the players, I think the surface was also very slippery."

"Our aim is to keep building into something that is great at this club," he concluded.

The Chilli Boys mentor will look to improve on his 2015/16 camapaign, when he lead the side to a club-record sixth position.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
