Malesela bemoans poor officiating

Cape Town - Chippa United coach Dan Malesela decried what he believed was a continuation of bad officiating during his team's games.

Malesela said the ineptitude of referees had far reaching consequences which affected people's livelihoods after Chippa extended their winless run to six games after their 1-0 loss against Polokwane City on Saturday.

"I've never spoken about referees or anything like that but, really, we can't have two weeks in a row, where we have similar situations and the result is the same," Malesela told KickOff.

"It's not fair. We are all working here. Referees don't understand - you make bad decisions, they affect people's families and people's lives.

"I get fired tomorrow because of bad decisions that referees make. We've got to man up; we've got to live up to these things. You will still be refereeing; I will be out of a job."
