Defender Tebogo Makobela is eager to return to action with Chippa United after recovering from a serious injury.
The 27-year-old former Jomo Cosmos defender suffered fractures in both tibia and fibula bones against Kaizer Chiefs in the final game of last season.
He underwent a successful operation and recovery period and was ready to make his comeback only to see all sporting activities suspended as a result of the coronavirus.
Speaking to the Sowetan, Makobela said: "I am fully recovered.
"I have been working hard to go back to the gym. I can tell you that I am 200% fit and I am hungry for the game."
Makobela added that the addition of Rulani Mokwena to the club is a massive boost for him, having feared he might not play again.
He explained: "My chance will come, especially now with the new coach. I hope he will give me the opportunity to play in these six remaining games of the season.
"My biggest worry was not being able to play again because I am the bread-winner at home. So, I had fears of losing my job because I knew my family is relying on me."
