Majoro up for Cape Town City challenge

Cape Town - Cape Town City striker Lehlohonolo Majoro says signing with the Mother City club offered him an opportunity to be part of an exciting new project.

The 30 year-old joined the newly-formed team after parting ways with Orlando Pirates during the off-season.

Majoro struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting line-up for the Buccaneers, but has reunited with coach Eric Tinkler, with whom he worked at Pirates.

"There were other offers, but I chose to go to a different environment where I'm out of my comfort zone," Majoro told KickOff.

"Sometimes when you are too comfortable you tend to forget about what you have to do. I'm happy that I have joined Eric in Cape Town."
