Majoro: I plan on playing until I'm 35

Cape Town - Cape Town city striker Lehlohonolo Majoro has revealed he wants to continue his playing career at the highest level until at least the age of 35.

The forward, who enjoyed successful spells previously at Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, believes a healthy lifestyle off the pitch can prolong his career.

"At this point, I'm happy with everything and happy I came to Cape Town because it moved me away from many things I used to do in Joburg, and many friends that I had," he told KickOff website.

"I'm 30 now and plan on playing until I'm 34 or 35, so my future will depend on the lifestyle I have because when you abuse yourself, you tend to play for a shorter time than expected."

Majoro has scored six goals in 24 matches in all competitions for the Citizens and will no doubt look to get into double figures in the remaining weeks of the campaign.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
