Veteran midfielder Letladi Madubanya has called time on his career by announcing his retirement from football.
The 36-year-old has played for a number of clubs throughout his career including Tembisa Classic, Bay United, SuperSport United, AmaZulu, Bloemfontein Celtic, Platinum Stars, and most recently Baroka FC.
Football in South Africa is currently suspended and without a club to play for, Madubanya has decided to focus on the next chapter in his career.
He told KickOff: "Every good thing has to come to an end.
"It's time to further another career. I enjoyed myself playing soccer. I have been playing football for the past 17 years.
"Now it's time to build my family and also have time with the people that matter in my life."
Madubanya added: "I have joined another school around Midrand. I am heading their sports desk and coaching the under-10s. My mother still stays there, and the community has welcomed me very well."
