Lucky Lekgwathi feels Tebogo Tlolane can shine at Orlando Pirates with the right support.
The former Bucs captain revealed that he had invaluable help from a number of senior player when he first began at the club.
The 25-year-old Tlolane is currently on loan at Maritzburg United after struggling to impose himself at Pirates.
Speaking to KickOff, Lekgwathi said: "You know what, I was watching the boy even when they were playing against Kaizer Chiefs, the boy is good.
"But sometimes players will come to the team and not get good support or good advice, that's why most of them don't gel with the team, you understand?
"Because some young players are not ready for big teams and they need support. I remember when I joined Pirates I got advice from people like Augusto Palacios, Dr Irvin Khoza, senior players and former players, the likes of Gerald Raphahlela.
"They would tell me to use every chance I get, you know, playing for Pirates you must always give 100 percent, always be ready at any time just in case you get an opportunity.
"Tlolane will need that kind of support to excel at Pirates. He didn't get enough chance to prove himself. He should've got more chances and he's got a bright future at Pirates. They must bring him back."
