Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Mulitin Sredojevic says forward Thembinkosi Lorch has been the team's best player this season as he has "contributed" the most.
Lorch has been tipped to with the PSL Player of the Year award by many pundits and ex-players after an outstanding season in which we could still see the Buccaneers with the Absa Premiership title.
The Soweto giants currently sit two points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with one round of fixtures to be played on Saturday.
Ahead of their game against Polokwane City, Sredojevic believes Lorch has been good amongst other players that do battle with "heart and fighting for the badge of the club."
In quotes published on the IOL website, Sredojevic said: "If you ask me as a coach, I will say Thembinkosi Lorch because he has contributed the most to the team.
"However, any coach will look at who is the best player in his team.
"When I look at everything, we have a tremendous, amazing group of good human beings.
"We have players who are playing with heart and fighting for the badge of the club.
"They are giving everything."
