Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela: Congratulations to Eric again he seems to be having a
Muti that works on me after an identical result with CT City.
"You can't come up with excuses, this is football and the only thing you can do is win. You can't fault the players.
"We created chances I don't know how many times we hit the woodwork. We just have to go back and work hard.
"I've been given a unique privilege and responsibility to lead this great club and when things don't work you feel it.
"One of the supporters here before the match said something unbelievable profound.
"They (fans) said to me, refer to Job in the Bible.
Robert Marawa: By Job he wasn't speaking about your Job?
Komphela: No Job is the name, not the title.
Man of the Match:
FULL-TIME: Kaizer Chiefs 0-1 SuperSport United.
SuperSport United advance to the MTN8 semi-finals through a first half goal by Jeremy Brockie.

Half time score: Kaizer Chiefs 0 : 1 SuperSport United (Brockie 6’) #MTN8 #Amakhosi4Life
HALF-TIME: Kaizer Chiefs 0-1 SuperSport United
Jeremy Brockie gives Matsatsantsa a first half lead but Amakhosi can count themselves unlucky to be trailing after coming close via Shabba and Parker strikes.

Thanks for following our coverage and we wish you well. Perhaps don't lose too much heart Chiefs fans, you played well and were unfortunate not to score. Goodnight.
FULL TIME! A stunning Jeremy Brockie finish was the difference to a Chiefs side who hit the post a number of times. Plenty of positives for the Glamour Boys, but ultimately, they bow out of the MTN8.
GOAL CHIEFS! No, it's clearly offside. It seems it is not to be for the Amakhosi tonight.
Four minutes of injury time indicated. SuperSport nearly into the MTN8 semi-finals unless something dramatic happens late here.
Time is running out for Chiefs and if no equaliser is found, Komphela will no doubt feel the pressure ahead of the Premiership season.
Jayiya is on for Rama as Amakhosi chase the equaliser.
Jayiya being prepared for Chiefs. Interesting it has taken so long for this to happen. Sign of things to come?
The game seems to be going nowhere. Could it be Chiefs are running out of ideas?
Who can doubt Steve? Ekstein hits the crossbar after a cross from the left. Shortly after, Shabba puts a shot just wide. Chiefs so unlucky tonight and United hanging on!
Strange change perhaps by Komphela. Takes off Parker and brings on Malongoane. Could be suggested that ineffective Paez had to go off.
Corner for Chiefs after great distribution from Khune and a surging forward run by Paez, leads to Ekstein winning the set piece. Nothing comes of it. Time running out for Amakhosi.
Chiefs seem to be running out of ideas as we enter the final 20 minutes. Time running out for Steve Komphela's men.
There may be something to the theory that Paez is not a starter. Aside from a few early good runs, he's been very quiet in this game tonight.
It's getting feisty with Furman and Katsande getting into each other's face. Yet, in the second half SuperSport seem to be holding their own.
Yellow card as Furman slams into Katsande. He seemed to go high into the destroyer's ankle and perhaps was lucky to escape a red.
Parker will feel so unlucky as his header hit the post. Williams had no chance and once again, how have Chiefs not scored?
So unlucky for Parker who sees his header hit the post with Williams beaten, after a cross from the right.
CHIEFS HIT THE POST!
HALF CHANCE! Grobler breaks into the right channel just outside Chiefs' box and Khune charges out to deal with it. He heads it up in the air and Grobler's attempt from the rebound is headed clear of an empty goal.
SuperSport have started stronger in the second stanza with Furman and Yeye taking more control in midfield once again.
And we're off in the second period with Chiefs once again on the front foot.
Half time. It's been a breathless first half contest with SuperSport's dominance in the opening 20 minutes rewarded with a superb Brockie strike. Thereafter, Chiefs have been in control. See you in 15 minutes.
Injury break as SSU defender Clayton Daniels and Chiefs' Bernard Parker go down after a clash of legs. Both back on their feet.
SuperSport are hanging by a thread hoping for the relief of half time. It has been all Chiefs for the last 20 minutes or so.
HALF CHANCE! Mphahlele breaks forward down the right hand side and swings in a cross. Morgan Gould misses his clearance on the small box, but SuperSport are able to clear.
Chiefs are in control with SuperSport hanging on. Looks as if they'll be happy to hang on to their lead until the break.
CHANCE! Parker shows superb movement and turns brilliantly to fire an effort on goal from the centre of the box. It's going in with real power but Williams tips it over. Great play, great save.
Chiefs are growing stronger as the half progresses and have been in charge for the last five minutes.
CHANCE! Shabba again pops up on the left and finds Ekstein with a cross just ahead of the penalty spot. He takes a good first touch and shoots but a SuperSport head gets it clear. CLOSE!
YELLOW CARD! Grobler crunches into Katsande and continues to show an incredible work rate. He made Brockie's goal and now he is smashing into Chiefs' enforcer.
PENALTY SHOUT! Dove Wome bursts into the box and is tackled by Lorenzo Gordinho. After initially getting contact on the ball, Wome breaks clear and appears to be brought down by Gordinho. Lucky escape Glamour Boys?
It's 1000 miles an hour here and a cracking contest. POST. Veteran Shabba cuts inside from the right wing and sees his shot deflected on to the post. United clear. CLOSE!
Handbags at five yards as enforcer Willard Katsande brings down Cole Alexander on the right-side of the second attacking third for United, but the ref blows and the situation is calmed down.
Siphiwe Tshabalala, who has been quiet, breaks into the left corner and whips a curling cross into United's small box at the near post. But, former teammate Morgan Gould clears with confidence.
Furman and Letsholonyane combining superbly and starting to take control of midfield. They work the ball to Grant Kekana on the right, whose cross is headed over the bar by a Chiefs defender for a corner.
Free kick on the right side which Maluleka delivers and it is cleared nervously by United from the small box.
Superb link-up play with Bradley Grobler finding his strike partner. Yet, Brockie showed the class of an English Premier League player to finish. Shades of Eric Tinkler's Cape Town City on the break.
Brilliant counter-attack with a long ball finding Jeremy Brockie inside Chiefs' box on the right side, he cuts back brilliantly and finishes past Itumeleng Khune. Different class. 1-0 SSU.
Chiefs look threatening with Paez and Parker lively, but suddenly SuperSport hit back on the break...
After an early exchange in midfield, the ball breaks to George Maluleka who spots Ronwen Williams off his line and hits a shot from the halfway line. Easily collected by the keeper.
Almost time to get underway...it has been a long wait. The noise is loud at the Moses Mabhida Stadium with everyone excited about the season ahead for both teams.
For SuperSport, seems a solid line-up with plenty of goalscoring options with Dove Wome, Bradley Grobler and a certain Jeremy Brockie in attack. Good options for coach Eric Tinkler.
Seems an obvious choice for Steve Komphela to select the line-up he has done. He must have seen the impact of Bernard Parker and Gustavo Paez together in the Carling Black Label Cup. Very good understanding.
United's bench: Pieterse, Mashamaite, Nhlapo, Mokoena, Mbule, Phala, Nkhatha
