Cape Town - South Africa U23 winger Gift Links wants to play in the UEFA Champions League, like Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau.

The ex-Cape Town City winger sealed a move to Danish club AGF a day before the South African transfer window closed.

Tau, meanwhile, will play in this season's Champions League with Belgian outfit Club Brugge while on loan from English Premier League side Brighton.

Speaking to KickOff.com this week, Links revealed how nothing would please him more than to have similar experiences as the former Mamelodi Sundowns forward.

“That’s my dream. If I get the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League, it would be great,” the 22-year-old Links said.

“I’ve followed Percy Tau for long, since he was playing for Sundowns. It’s amazing the things he is doing overseas because a player from South Africa goes overseas and adapts so quickly.

"It’s amazing, so I’ll go that side and work hard and hope things work out for me.”
