Letsoaka coy on Majoro, Mbesuma rumours

Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic coach Serame Letsoaka admits he is looking to add strikers to his squad, but refuses to confirm interest in Lehlohonolo Majoro or Collins Mbesuma.

Majoro is currently on the books of Orlando Pirates, while Mbesuma is a free agent after seeing out his contract with Mpumalanga Black Aces, for whom he was the PSL’s top goal-scorer last season.

Celtic have already confirmed the signing of seven new players, but speculation has been ongoing that the Free State side are soon to swoop for Majoro and Mbesuma, two marksman who have played for both of the Soweto giants in the past.

Of the seven new men, only Atusaye Nyondo is a striker. Letsoaka has admitted he is looking for more forwards, but refused to confirm or deny that Majoro and Mbesuma are on Phunya Sele Sele’s radar.

"We are looking for any other striker that is available at the moment. We are looking outside of the borders. We are definitely looking for a striker at this point in time," Letsoaka told Goal.com website.

"We are looking everywhere and we will see who we get at the end of the day. Everybody is speculating on Majoro and Mbesuma and that will only remain as speculation.

"I cannot deny or agree with you on the players that you are talking about," he added.
