Letlabika back at Bloem Celtic after financial issues resolved

Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic Public Relations Officer Sello Nduna says defender Wandisile Letlabika has returned to training after differences were solved allegedly over money.

Reports emerged recently that Letlabika was unhappy as he was forced to pay his own medical expenses for a knee injury sustained in 2017.

As such, it appeared the 29-year-old wanted remuneration for those costs and it appears since then Celtic and the player have resolved this financial concern.

Sello told Kickoff: "Look, it is true that Wandisile didn't attend training on Monday.

"Obviously as a team, the management we need to enquire especially where we are not sure what is happening. But the player is back at training, we met him and he told us he was attending to personal stuff which we understand. But he is back at training.

"I'm not sure which money you are talking about. You know some of the things we believe we're going to handle them internally. Some are internal matters and we just need to treat them as such.

"Look it's well documented the team is in financial difficulties, but at the end of the day whatever that is happening within the team we are going to treat it as such you know, and some of the players wants us to keep some of their stuff confidential."
