Lentjies rallies Team of Choice

Cape Town - Maritzburg United captain Kurt Lentjies says his team will do whatever it takes to survive the relegation chop.

The bottom-of-the-table Team of Choice face the real threat of suffering the drop with five games left to play this season.

Maritzburg will need a complete turnaround to avoid relegation with 17 points from 25 games.

"Home and away, we have to get the three points from our next five games," Lentjies said on the club's official website.

"We'll have to fight for the last five games, we still believe we can survive no matter what and we'll fight to the end."

The KZN outfit will resume their fight for survival against Free State Stars on Tuesday before taking on SuperSport United, Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Jomo Cosmos in their remaining fixtures.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
