Lebusa lavishes praise on Menzo

Cape Town - Mosa Lebusa says new Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo deserves credit for the way he has turned around the club's fortunes in such a short space of time.

The 1-0 victory over high-flying Golden Arrows saw the Urban Warriors secure their third consecutive win to move up to 11th in the Premiership standings.

After also beating Platinum Stars and Mamelodi Sundowns, the South Africa international feels the change of results boils down to the team spirit instilled by Menzo.

"I feel great. I know it's only been three wins so far, but they mean a lot to us," Lebusa told KickOff.

"However, we are not going to get carried away by those three wins.

"There's still a long way to go. Indeed there is unity in the team. I think the coach deserves a massive applause for uniting the team.

"The first thing he did when he took over was making us understand each other on and off the field and that really helped us."
