Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mosa Lebusa has revealed that he is back in contention for the CAF Champions League match against USM Alger after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Lebusa picked up the injury last month and has missed Sundowns' last few games as a result but returns to bolster the side for their crucial continental clash with the Algerian outfit USM, which could secure their qualification to the last eight.
After revealing that he was indeed raring to go again, Lebusa said he would understand if he did not force his way in to the first-team at once due to the Brazilians rearguard having been in good form in his absence.
"It's up to the coach because I only started to train this week. So it's up to the coach to select me or not," said Lebusa at the Nedbank Cup draw, which pitted 'Downs against Tshwane rivals in the last 32.
"But I feel the other guys that have been playing have been doing well and didn't concede a goal, and it's good to keep the momentum."
South American trio Mauricio Affonso, Gaston Sirino and Jose Ali Meza are battling with injuries and major doubts for the weekend's clash.
