Cape Town - University of Pretoria will head into their final match of the season against Golden Arrows at Tuks Stadium on Saturday knowing that nothing less than victory will suffice.
Shaun Bartlett's men will be relegated from the Premiership should they fail to gain three points.
The best they can hope for as it stands is a place in the play-offs, should the clash between 15th-placed Maritzburg United (24 points) and 14th-placed Jomo Cosmos (25 points) produce a winner.
Tuks can also finish above the Team of Choice if they win and the latter draw.
For Arrows too there is plenty on the line. Abafana Bes'thende (40 points) are currently eighth and gunning a finish in the top half of the table.
A win will keep them there, but a draw will mean they are left to rely on the outcome of the match between seventh-placed Orlando Pirates (40 points) and SuperSport United (39 points).
"We've done all the permutations and I'm sure they've done theirs," Arrows boss Clinton Larsen said.
"There's a lot to play for on both sides and I expect an absolute war.
"They will know that anything other than victory will mean relegation, so they will be desperate.
"We will need to be up for the fight and match them in that regard."
Rodney Ramagalela is the only absentee for the visitors, while the hosts are at full strength for the encounter.
