Larsen proud of Arrows performance

Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen was delighted with his team's clinical finishing during their 3-1 Nedbank Cup Round of 32 win over Maritzburg United.

The result was put to bed early on Sunday as Sibusiso Sibeko, Lerato Lamola, and Kudakwashe Mahachi scored in the first-half for a 3-0 lead.

Lebohang Maboe netted a consolation for United in the 66th minute.

Larsen praised his team's attacking performance on the day and was proud of the ease of their victory.

"Playing with two number tens in front of (Musa) Bilankulu really gave them (Maritzburg United) problems and they didn't know how to handle the three in the midfield," Larsen said, as reported by KickOff.

"And we dominated and created the chances but, most important, we converted the chances we created and that was most key in the first-half.

"It’s nice when you dominate a game and compliment that with goals, but yes, I'm very proud of the performance and going through to the next round."
