Cape Town - Fagrie Lakay is
heading back to SuperSport United following the end of his loan spell
with National First Division-bound Ajax Cape Town.
The Santos academy product spent six months on loan with the Urban
Warriors, scoring three goals in a bright spell ahead of the club's
unfortunate relegation from the Absa Premiership this season.

international who struggled for game time under Eric Tinkler at
But with Kaitano Tembo currently in care-taker charge, and with a
shout at being named head coach for 2018/19, Lakay returns to a club in
SuperSport ended seventh in the standings last term having flirted with relegation prior to Tinkler's exit.
Speaking to KickOff, 22-year-old Lakay said: "It was a good experience as a player to play in front of my people of Cape Town.
"It was also a good career move you know, as I got valuable game-time and that was the main idea.
"Ajax is a fantastic club with world class facilities and ideal for any player’s career.
"I had great support from the coach [Muhsin Ertugral], personnel and
the staff. They are very friendly people and I will miss them all.
"I also need to thank Ajax’s passionate crowd as they have shown great support to the club through thick and thin."
