Cape Town - Anthony Laffor believes a club of Mamelodi Sundowns' stature owes it to themselves and their fans to bring home the Telkom Knockout trophy on Wednesday.
The Brazilians will square off against Kaizer Chiefs for TKO honours at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in what promises to be an enthralling encounter between two of South Africa's biggest teams.
However, the Tshwane giants have lost all eight of their cup final clashes against Amakhosi, although breaking that hoodoo this week would make it eight trophies for Sundowns in the PSL era.
"Sundowns is a big team and we need to win trophies," he said.
"I feel great and I feel blessed and I can't wait for this opportunity on Wednesday because we need to win a trophy."
Kick-off is at 18:00.
