Cape Town - The agent of Mamelodi Sundowns forward Anthony Laffor has dismissed reports linking him to Kaizer Chiefs.
Laffor has enjoyed a memorable year with the Chloorkop-based outfit, clinching the Premiership crown, the CAF Champions League title and participating in the FIFA World Club Cup.
However, the five-time Premiership winning attacker has not cemented a starting berth in Pitso Mosimane's side, with the likes of Percy Tau and Leonardo Castro getting a nod ahead of him.
The Liberia international has six months left on his current contract, making him eligible to hold talks with interested clubs and as a result, speculation has emerged linking the 33-year-old with a move to Chiefs, who are said to be long-time admirers of the player.
However, Steven Kapeluschnik rubbished these reports, suggesting that Laffor has been in discussion with his club over a contract renewal, although he admits the current situation remains unchanged.
"We're always in talks but the situation is the same as it were before," Kapeluschnik told Goal.com.
"Nothing has changed. I don't know where that comes from honestly."
