Cape Town - National First Division top goal scorer Thabiso Kutumela is confident he will continue to find the back of the net in the Premiership, following his confirmed move to Orlando Pirates next season.
Kutumela scored his 19th goal of the season in a 1-1 draw against Milano United to help Baroka FC gain promotion to the Premiership on Sunday.
The 22-year-old is set to link up with former Baroka team-mate Gift Motupa, who gave him some advice about life in the big league, at the Buccaneers.
"I must get to know them first (the Pirates players) and if I get the chance I will continue to get some goals," Kutumela told reporters.
"And I’m so excited to be joining Pirates because I’m going to be play with him (Motupa) and he has been guiding me while I’m here.
"He said I should avoid many things and I should try focus on my job, and I will be in the starting line if I work hard."
Kutumela is also targeting a spot in the national U-23 squad for the upcoming Rio Olympics, after missing out on the U-23 AFCON in Senegal last year.
"Having said that, I will also pray that I make it to the Olympics because I missed to go to Senegal and at least this time around, if I get the chance, I will prove myself," he added.
