Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates coaches Ruud Krol and Roger De Sa are among the first to be linked to the SuperSport United hot seat for next season.
Current SuperSport boss Stuart Baxter was announced as the Bafana Bafana coach last month and has already begun his national team duties, although he will likely still be in charge when the Pretoria team take on Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final, scheduled for Saturday, June 24.
The club are also involved in the CAF Confederation Cup, but will no doubt also be making plans to hire a new coach for next season.
And according to a report, Krol is top of Matsatsantsa's list, with De Sa also a viable option.
"Roger has the expertise to coach a club like SuperSport, he has been in the game for a long time and he knows how to compete in Africa, he proved himself with Pirates. That is what the club is looking for at the moment," an 'inside' source told Phakaaathi.
"But it looks more likely that Krol will be the man to replace Baxter," the source added.
Former Bidvest Wits, Pirates and Ajax Cape Town coach De Sa last worked at Maritzburg United, but quit back in March after only a couple of months in charge.
Former Netherlands international Krol has spent the last five years at several big clubs in north Africa, including Espérance de Tunis and CS Sfaxien, and he also coached the Tunisia national side.
