Komphela takes lessons from difficult season

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela admits he has learnt some hard lessons in what has been a frustrating season for Amakhosi.

Chiefs failed dismally to defend their Premiership title which was snatched by Mamelodi Sundowns.

Amakhosi also fell short in cup competition after being beaten finalists in the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout.

"Every time when the other road comes to the end, the other one starts there and for us we have to start working now," Komphela told Soccer Laduma.

"We have lessons which we have learnt from the past season and we have to work on those lessons. We have to start that work now."

Chiefs will host Chippa United in their final game of the season at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
