Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela is once again rallying up Cape Town fans ahead of their Platinum Stars encounter.
Amakhosi have already tasted victory in the Mother City when they hosted Bidvest Wits at Cape Town Stadium in December.
This time around they welcome Cavin Johnson’s chargers to the spectacular ground on Saturday, January 23.
“We beat Bidvest Wits in our first home away from home fixture in the Cape of Love & Peace,” states Komphela on the club's website.
“We hope to continue our good results in the Cape against Dikwena,” enthuses Komphela.
“We are looking forward to a great match and, of course, a win.”
“Chiefs’ fans thrive on confidence,” continues Komphela.
“They will fully support their team even after losing in the Telkom Cup final, as they came in numbers to the Cape Town Stadium.
“We must just give them a win and the experience of watching Chiefs play. We want our supporters to enjoy watching Chiefs.
“Football is not only a sport. At Amakhosi we are looking as well at the greater influence to the society.
“We want to affect lives in a broader sense of emotions and perspectives.”
Kick-off is at 15:30.
